As the medical lead for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for my Neuroscience team, I was selected out of hundreds of submissions to give a TEDx presentation to my global organization in 2021. In the middle of the pandemic, I was invited to travel to Basel, Switzerland to have a one-of-a-kind experience. One which allowed me, representing the US, to learn from peers stationed all around the world, and even have an impactful conversation with our Global CEO.
